VA Recruitment has Officially Begun! - June 26, 2008

The word is out, and so are our recruitment cards! We want You, your mother, your grandfather, your best friend and everyone else, to help us spread good vibes and good times far and wide. There’s no big mystery to the Vibration Army – “it’s all about the good vibe!” One smile at a time, together we all can make a difference.

Peace In & Out,
MoJoW

Movin’ on up! - May 29, 2008

2008 really is proving to be great! Since adding drums to our stage show, our band has evolved to new heights. Not only have we had some great gigs, including opening for Kenny Loggins and JGB, but we’re also through the moon about being on the cover of the LA Weekly!! MoW is busy finishing up her first quarter in a one year bass intensive at the LA Music Academy, and JoW is recording, gigging, and teaching throughout the LA area. We’re steadily infiltrating the Los Angeles area and sense a lot of opportunity.

As a prayer for Memorial Day we share our love and support for all those around the world affected by war.

Peace be with you,
MoJoW

2008 is gonna be great! - January 2, 2008

We just got up from a 32 hour recouperative slumber after a couple of awesome New Years concerts. Opening for ALO at the Independant in SF on the 30th, with our dear brother Inx on drums, was a night to remember. We then booked it south to Long Beach for an off the hook NYE party opening for Delta Nove with Vinny Threats on drums. We've sat in with both ALO and Delta Nove many times over the years, and it was truly and honor to finally have them sit in with us! We're excited and optimistic about the coming year. 2008 is gonna be great!

Rocktober News! - October 15, 2007

We're extra psyched to be playing this next round of shows beause we've recently incorporated a drummer into our stage performance. We'll be playing with John Enke of Clevis at the Mint in LA tonight and with the infamous Inkx of Hamsa Lila and Hugh Masekela in SF and Berkeley. It's been a long journey preparing us to take it to the next level...and now we're ready to rock. Looking forward to seeing you out there!!
Peace,
MoJoW

New CD, Release Party and Live Earth Concert Series - June 15, 2007

Hope your all doing great. On Monday, June 18th at 8pm, We will perform for the first time at the Soho in Santa Barbara to celebrate the release of our 2nd record, "Work With What You Got." This record is in the style of Saxappella (Acappella grooves and Sax), but the show will be a full instrumentation stage performance featuring great funky music from around the world, with some
wagon pulling mobilizations to boot. Moriah is especially excited to play her favorite home town venue and share some off her experiences working for the Live Earth climate awareness concert series. www.liveearth.org. She has been working more than full time for that and performing every weekend. Go girl! If you are in the area, please come out for a fun evening of great music, dance, costumes, friends, and good vibrations. If interested in the new record, it will be available soon at http://www.cdbaby.com/vibrationarmy2

We've recently moved to the lovely city of Los Angeles, and are excited about the opportunities and potential this place has to offer. We are dilligently working to finish our second album which consists of pure vocal grooves and funky sax (saxapella), rehearsing the new incarnation of our stage show, and plotting our portable Hollywood party infiltration. When the time is right we will be anywhere and everywhere possible. Thanks for checking out our site, and we're lookin' forward to seeing yall soon!
